Discuss with our retail staff your favoured colour, material, style and last, and create a unique pair of hand-crafted shoes or boots to your own specification.

SHOES & BOOTS BY SPECIAL ORDER

Wilfred Frazer’s retail shops offer a Special Order service for the customer who wishes to have a pair of shoes or boots made to their own unique specifications.

Each pair is individually handcrafted according to the customer’s choice of style, upper material, and sole type, all of which can be selected from our extensive range of styles and materials available at Wilfred Frazer’s.

The process usually requires a visit to a Wilfred Frazer’s retail shop to determine the correct last shape, style, and size, and to choose from the numerous leather swatches available in calf, grain, and suede.

The order for your unique pair of Wilfred Frazer’s ‘Specials’ is then sent to the factory, where it is approved by our Managing Director, Jonathan Jones. Mr. Jones personally oversees each and every pair of specials, leveraging his vast knowledge of our styles and materials. Once the all-clear has been given, your single pair is sent into the factory. Production of a pair of specials takes approximately 10-12 weeks, with prices starting from £840.00 / €980.00 / $1200.00.

SLIPPERS BY SPECIAL ORDER

The Special Order service is not just restricted to our Goodyear-welted shoes and boots; it is also available for customers who would like to personalize a pair of men’s or women’s ‘Albert’ slippers at Wilfred Frazer’s.

Each Wilfred Frazer’s shop holds its own catalogue of upper and lining color options, ranging from velvet to Harris Tweed, emblems, and monograms. Inspiration can be taken from these pre-designed options, but customers can also create their own unique artwork, such as family crests or one-off designs. Prices for slippers by special order start from £230.00 / €270.00 / $320.00 and usually take around 8-10 weeks to make.
